# Campaigns

The **Campaigns** section is where you bring everything together by linking your completed **template** to an actual **product** in your store. This is the final step that makes your personalized product live and shoppable for customers.

<figure><img src="https://4235989069-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FrihgZgEjEfk2NzCONWV0%2Fuploads%2F5D3Mte1BtOT6DDmB4Hyo%2FCampaign%20.png?alt=media&amp;token=13e05cb8-bda4-44d3-835c-09fa83d65a48" alt=""><figcaption><p>Create a campaign </p></figcaption></figure>

To create a campaign:

1. Go to the **Campaigns** tab
2. Click the **“Add Campaign”** button (top right)
3. Choose your product source:
   * **Shopify Products**: Select a product already listed in your Shopify store
   * **Product Bases**: Use if the product is not yet added to Shopify

> 📝 **Note:** If your product isn’t in your Shopify store yet, you need to first create it in the **Product Base** section before linking it in a campaign.

## Create a campaign from a product from Product Bases&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://4235989069-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FrihgZgEjEfk2NzCONWV0%2Fuploads%2FZOSHoOl0QTXddmW6jI1v%2FProduct%201%20.png?alt=media&amp;token=2b6f1faa-cef4-4e1c-92d0-d1c0e3102cb2" alt=""><figcaption><p>Select a product from your Product Bases </p></figcaption></figure>

You’ll see a list of all your available [Product Bases.](/overview/menu/product-bases.md)

* Use the search bar to quickly find the one you want
* Click to select the desired product (e.g., *Classic Dad Cap*)

This links the campaign to the structure and variants defined in that Product Base.

<figure><img src="https://4235989069-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FrihgZgEjEfk2NzCONWV0%2Fuploads%2Fp1ykz2F3stvMIrUNalmu%2Fproduct%202%20.png?alt=media&amp;token=3165253c-f9bd-4c76-a17d-c9e899637550" alt=""><figcaption><p>Choose a template </p></figcaption></figure>

Next, click **“Add template”** and select the template that matches this product.

This template should already have a preview and print file layout that fits the selected product mockup.

<figure><img src="https://4235989069-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FrihgZgEjEfk2NzCONWV0%2Fuploads%2FQmRWEpQrmnDYyM0ww3id%2FProduct%205.png?alt=media&amp;token=d7c39891-c98b-4bc5-aacd-6766b675f477" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Your **preview images** will be automatically pulled in from the template — no need to upload them again.

Under **Variants**, click **Browse** to choose the specific variants (e.g., sizes, colors) you want to make available for this personalized product. Once everything looks good, click **Save** in the top-right corner.

## Create a campaign from a Shopify product

If your product is already listed in your **Shopify store**, you can create a campaign directly from it.&#x20;

After selecting **“Shopify Products”** as your campaign type, you’ll see a list of products pulled directly from your Shopify store. Use the search bar to locate the product you want to personalize quickly, then click to select it.

<figure><img src="https://4235989069-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FrihgZgEjEfk2NzCONWV0%2Fuploads%2FJUyo3Temy6CPQ7qybmca%2Fshopify%201.png?alt=media&amp;token=f5806337-5ede-455d-94bb-dda3f22970bc" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Once you’ve selected the product, click the **“Add template”** button. Choose the template you previously created that matches this product’s mockup and customization logic.

<figure><img src="https://4235989069-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FrihgZgEjEfk2NzCONWV0%2Fuploads%2FkLg1MDbvvM6hynmNUAvL%2FShopify%202%20.png?alt=media&amp;token=f90a069d-f1fc-49a5-a5af-0af0660ee21f" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Once you’ve confirmed everything — product, template, and variants — click **Save** in the top-right corner.&#x20;

## Activation and Further Setup

No matter if your campaign is created from a **Shopify product** or a **Product Base**, after clicking **Save**, the campaign will remain in **Draft** status by default. To make it live on your storefront, you have to:&#x20;

* Locate the **“Status”** section on the right
* Switch the dropdown from **“Draft”** to **“Active”**

<figure><img src="https://4235989069-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FrihgZgEjEfk2NzCONWV0%2Fuploads%2FkHQzcLRGHnRyaD9DTyUD%2Fpublish%20campaign.png?alt=media&amp;token=3485e928-19b6-42d8-8dd9-fafe907e92a5" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

After saving, two advanced sections appear at the bottom of the campaign editor.

<figure><img src="https://4235989069-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FrihgZgEjEfk2NzCONWV0%2Fuploads%2FzfgbmWYSLJYVISPTc0Bb%2FCampaign%203.png?alt=media&amp;token=39de7fe0-42f4-4158-89e5-1005b54c7f36" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### **Template Variants**

This section lets you:

* Assign **different templates** to specific variants
* Useful if different sizes or styles need their own customization setup

### **Variant Functions**

This section allows you to:

* Assign **different preview images** to different product variants
* For example, show the white shirt mockup when customers select "White / M", and show the grey mockup for "Sport Grey / M"

To do this:

* Choose the function: **Change previews**
* Select the variant(s) you want to target
* Enter the **index number** of the preview image (starting from 1)

<figure><img src="https://4235989069-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FrihgZgEjEfk2NzCONWV0%2Fuploads%2FgS86GtJXleE1r5fjsmge%2Fcampaign%206.png?alt=media&amp;token=ff9a14d0-3d81-4519-83e4-7b749af00954" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

📌 *Example:* If “Sport Grey” is the first preview image, use index **1**. If “White” is the second, use **2**, and so on.

Once your previews and template-variant settings are done, click **Save** again. Your campaign is now fully set up and live!
